Trucking Safety & Compliance Assistant

T Bros. is looking for an experienced and motivated Safety Administration Assistant who is looking for an excellent opportunity to grow and display your talents and skills with a growing trucking and logistics company.The ideal candidate will have experience in safety and compliance, has the ability to work in a positive way, and is eager to grow the business while concentrating on maintaining and shaping a safety first environment.
Responsibilities:
- All auditing, reporting, safety inspections, administering safety policies, safety programs, drug/alcohol testing program.
- Assisting with the reporting to regulatory Local, State, and Federal Agencies
- Work with Captive Insurance on accident/incident investigations and reports of injuries and vehicular incidents
- Handle & train on "Keep Trucking" ELD system.
- Assist with safety and federally administered compliance regulations. This includes trailer equipment, vehicles, Owner Operators and Company drivers.
- Assist with implementing safety policies, procedures, onboarding new drivers and training programs .
Qualifications:
- 1 years experience in trucking safety & Compliance operations.(Required)
- Ability to work in a positive work culture.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Willing and eager to assist in growing Trucks and overall business.
- Motivated to succeed
- Microsoft Office proficiency with emphasis in Excel
- Experienced with DOT regulations, IFTA and IRP.

Description:
- 2 options open – Intermediate - Traveling 5-7 nights per week - or - Over the Road - Traveling 10-14 days at a time.
- Guaranteed pay up $58k per year
- Terminals in Sioux Falls, SD & Guymon, OK
- Refrigerated carrier running 48 states
- Equipment 3 yrs old or NEWER, includes trailers
- Payroll done weekly using Direct Deposit *Must live within 150 miles of either Terminal
- Paid week vacation after 1 year
- Paid empty or loaded miles
- Training miles are at $.20/all miles.
- Plenty of miles available if your ready to go
- Peoplenet Elogs & in-cab communication
- Have your hard card CDL
- Will train recent graduates from CDL School
- Complete a DOT Physical
- Complete a pre-employment drug screen
- Perform a Job Fit Test to ensure work safety
- Background checks done for Military Base clearance
